  1. I’m amazed by not only the quality of these Bonsai but the numbers of them. Japan is truly a Mecca for all Bonsai enthusiasts. It’s images like these that both encourage and discourage me. Thank you for sharing, I really enjoyed it.

Hope you will continue to post more contents as you travel and see bonsai around the world. Vietnam is starting to have a few great bonsai shows too, if you ever have a chance to go there. Your photography is excellent too.

  5. I’m flying to Japan tomorrow to see the azalea Bonsai festivals. Your website, which I’ve just discovered, has inspired me at the last minute to schedule a side-trip to Kinashi.

    I’d be happy to help out with the botanical descriptions. What would be the best way to do it? Just glancing through, I see a lot of Japanese black pines and Japanese five-needle (white) pines, and few Chinese junipers.
