Bonsai Nursery 2
I received directions to this nursery from a local in Kyoto – they drew a map for me.
I am afraid I have no translation for the name of the premises, if you happen to be able to translate the shopfront sign – please let me know.
Shop front:
Very Close to Hanazono Station
Shopfront signpost – if anyone would like to translate it:

I am not sure if the little bags are airlayers or grafts

He’s a baby! – this is my wifes favorite little samurai bonsai guard:

went in june 2007 — don’t bother!

This whole thing made me laugh a little and I advise you learn some Japanese. The black characters of the first picture read “Bonsai.” On the third picture in faded red characters read “Bonsai Center” with the top black characters reading “Kyoto.” The lower letter I don’t know. Thank you very much for this picture. I am a college student in the U.S. looking to study bonsai for my Japanese major. Are there any more places you came upon that had more temperate to tropical bonsai? I would like to know a good place to visit.
