I met Mitsuo Matsuda and his father Kenji Matsuda at this nursery.
They specialise in Satsuki Azalea and have many other high quality trees.

I was toying with the idea of bringing home one of the amazing Azalea’s for sale here, Mitsuo was very helpful – he gave me a book of azalea’s in bloom and also a book from a recent show. I did not end up bringing a tree home because I could not bare the thought of losing a masterpiece to climate shock or inadequate quaratine care here in Australia.
Mitsou exports trees to some countries and has a quarantine section where he prepares trees for transport.
