The following tree is inground – so it doesnt really qualify as a bonsai.
It is however the most remarkable lower branch structure i have ever seen.
The pad spread of these two bottom branches is enormous, they have constructed a scaffolding system to support and train it.

Hello, many of the trees pictured are indeed for sale.
I would assume that some are part of the owners personal collections – being trained by generations of the same families it would make sense.
If you go to map locale 6 – there is contact info there to reach the owner. I considered purchasing one of the Satsuki Azalea, however after careful consideration I opted against this as I did not want to lose the tree to climate shock or long term quaratine.
It is imposssible to import pines to Australia – due to systemic diseases that are prevalent in these trees in Japan. I do know a few people who have imported trees here, they say that the ratio of survival is 1 tree out of 4.
The cost of importing the tree and quarantine can easily outweigh the tree purchase price.
I would suggest you speak with a local bonsai club and get a few pointers from soemone who has succuessfully imported trees to your area prior to contacting a Japanese Nursery. Also researching the quarantine and importation of flora in your country is a good idea. I found very good Australian government info online. I imagine this is the same for most countries.
Cheers,
Ludi
